Billie Jean Clark Walsh

Billie Jean Clark Walsh, 88, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on Monday December 9, 2019.

Billie was born in Shamrock, Texas on August 6, 1931. She graduated from Guymon High School in Guymon Oklahoma and continued on to receive a bachelor's degree from University of Colorado in anthropology. Billie was married to Charles W. Walsh Jr. on October 20, 1956. Billie was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed being a wife and mother. She enjoyed volunteer work and being active in PEO, Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames. Billie enjoyed her family, antique collecting and  refinishing,  genealogy and watching her grandchildren's sports and activities. She was always ready with a yes and could make a fun day out of any day. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial, Colorado for over 30 years before joining St. Mary’s Cathedral in Amarillo after her recent move, and lived a devoted spiritual life. She was a minister of Holy Communion and participated in perpetual adoration and many volunteer ministries.

Billie is survived by her four daughters: Theresa and husband David Marshello (Colleyville, Texas); Susanne and husband Rudy Dismuke (Houston, Texas); Meganne Walsh  and her husband Randy Massucci (Amarillo, Texas); Katie Walsh (Houston, Texas). Billie is also survived by her sister in law Shirley Clark (Pampa, Texas).

Billie has ten grandchildren: Katherine Marshello, Kristin Marshello, Christopher Dismuke, Sarah Dismuke, Hunter Massucci and wife Ashley, Tanner Massucci and wife Emily, Emily Reed, Hannah Reed, Charlie Reed, and Abigail Reed.

Billie has one great grandbaby, Easton Massucci.

She has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Walsh Jr.;  her parents, Eldon Clark and Jewel Redding Clark; her brothers, Tommy Clark and Rick Clark.
