Bobby Gene Belcher was born in Bear Creek, Missouri October 9th, 1946 to parents Alva and Fanny Bell (Tindle) Belcher and went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 2, 2022. Bobby enjoyed a fun, rural childhood with his brother Wayne and his sisters Patsy and June.  Bobby was a tremendous athlete and graduated from Stockton High school in 1964.  Upon graduation, Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force and served a distinguished four-year career.  During his Air Force career, he was a Sergeant in the Military Police and worked in the K-9 Unit with his trusty German Shepherd partner Corky.

He was introduced to the love of his life and wife, Patricia Raef on July the Fourth 1968.  Bobby and Patricia were married on July 26th 1969, and stayed together for a wonderful forty-five years. In that time, they were amazing parents to a beautiful daughter Heather, and two wonderful sons Cody and Evan.  Upon the completion of his stint in the Air Force and after meeting Patricia, Bobby utilized the GI bill and used his tuition to attend trade school and become a plumber and heating and air technician.  He worked for many years as a job foreman for Scottco until he ventured out on his own.  He started Belcher’s Plumbing Heating and AC in 1985 and worked tirelessly until it became a successful business.  He retired in 2002 and worked for a while as a homebuilder and maintenance supervisor until finally retiring for good.

Bobby enjoyed many hobbies including fishing and hunting and all forms of car racing; but his favorite pasttime was being a Grandpa to his grandchildren.

Bobby’s survivors include his children Heather Belcher-Frye and husband Trey; Evan Belcher and his wife Erin; and eldest son Cody Belcher and wife Natalie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Additionally, he was the greatest Grandpa in the world to six wonderful grandchildren: Alex, Callon, Dawson, Emerson, Ethan, Emily and Carly whom he doted on and loved very much.  Bobby was eternally grateful for his humble faith in the Lord and always believed that the way you conduct yourself might be the only Bible other people ever read.  He will be missed dearly by all his friends and family and countless loved ones.
