Charles Daniel Thomas

Charles Daniel Thomas, 74, of Amarillo died April 21, 2021.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Charles Daniel Thomas was born on January 19, 1947 in Pampa, TX to A.D. Thomas and Lorene (Foshee) Thomas.  He was married to Ann Owens on August 29, 1975.  Daniel was a US Navy Veteran who proudly served in Vietnam.  After a general discharge, he worked as a boilermaker for 35 years out of Local Union 531 before retiring and working at the VA Hospital for 13 years.

Daniel was a great husband and father, who was always joking around. His children, Cindy & Larry, Bryan, Mike, Roy & Mary, Deanna & Nathaneal, and Chad and Becca, as well as his 19 grand children, 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, loved him and will miss him dearly.

Daniel stepped from this life into the presence of God in the early morning on April 21, 2021.  He was preceded by his parents as well as his sisters Evie Thomas and Linda Sue Perdue.
