Danny Ira Peregoy

Danny Ira Peregoy, 72, of Amarillo died September 30, 2018.

Funeral services will be held in Richmond, Virginia. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Danny was born June 22, 1946 in Richmond, VA to Haywood Peregoy and Mildred Hubbard. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam and was awarded the National Service and Good Conduct Medals. Danny worked as an electrician at the cotton gin in the Oil Field for 46 years in Lubbock and surrounding areas. He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with vehicles and listening to good ol’ country music.

He is preceded in death by his birth parents, Haywood Augusta Peregot and Mildred Estelle Hubbard; and 1 son, Daniel Ira Peregoy, Jr.

Danny is survived by his very special Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Roy Peregoy of whom were Mom and Dad for most of his lifetime; 3 daughters, Brenda Haney and husband Jason, Paulette Mattison and husband Joshua, and Sybil Jordan and husband Billy; and 7 grandchildren, Heather Friddle, Treciee Jordan, Jeremiah Jordan, Joshus Jordan, L.J. Cheney, Kelsey Cheney, and Nathan Mattison.
