Dolores "Dee" Davis

October 4, 1934 — November 2, 2018

A life ended on November 2, 2018 that began on October 4, 1934 in Hammon , Oklahoma.  Dolores was the only child born to Bessie and Kyle Trent.  She grew up in Elk City , Oklahoma and graduated from Elk City High in 1952.  She married Myrle Davis on May 24, 1957.  They raised 3 daughters; Lisa, Christi, and Joely.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents and two daughters, Lisa and Christi.

Dee never gave up until the very end after battling with kidney failure and a brain tumor.

Survivors include her husband Myrle and one daughter Joely Sullivan of  Lake Charles, Louisiana; seven grandchildren – Ryne Callen and his wife Mollie, Ashlea Callen, Daxton Stokes, Quinton Stokes, Hannah Stokes, Chelsey Hess and Christopher Stiffler; four great-grandchildren – Lainey Stokes, Kaige Waldrop, Penelope Stokes and Addison Callen; two very special sons-in-law – David Callen and Rusty Sullivan.

Visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m., at Schooler Funeral Home, Friday, November 9, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
