Gearldean (Jerry) Davis Barton

Gearldean (Jerry) Davis Barton went to be with her lord and savior February 11, 2021.

Jerry was born to Charlie and Lura Davis on July 14, 1928. Jerry married Harold E Barton on March 2, 1952. Harold preceded her in death in 1986. Jerry and Harold lived in Hereford, Texas for many years. Jerry had two children Curtis Barton and wife Donna of Arlington and Liz Barton of Amarillo. She had 6 grandchildren, Jessica Miller and husband Jon, Vanessa Barton and husband Kal Knepp, Susan Angel, Stephanie Bray and husband Patrick, Quintin Barton, Andrew Barton and wife Nikki. She had numerous great and great great grandchildren.

Jerry was a nurse for 50 years, working as Director of nurses at several Nursing homes in Hereford and Amarillo. Jerry was an expert quilter. She made quilts and donated them to the children in the pediatric unit at BSA Hospital. She stopped making these quilts after she had donated 1,000.  Her donations are memorialized at the pediatrics unit of BSA Hospital.

A private memorial service will be held for the family.
