Harvey Ray Hickman

Harvey Ray Hickman “Two Feathers”, 81, entered the gates of Heaven on January 19, 2022.

Viewing will be from 1-5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2022 at the funeral home.

Harvey was born July 8, 1940 in Gypsy, OK to Alva and Mamie Hickman. He graduated from Sunray High School in 1958 and started his career as a truck driver for Merchants Fast Motor Lines for 37 years hauling freight. Harvey ended his career as a stocker for Dollar General until he was 81 years old.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Chambless, Jimmye Mae Cook and Judith Ann Hickman; brother, Charles Mack Hickman; grandson, Wesley Scott Levitt; and great-grandson, Easton Benner.

Harvey is survived by brothers, Bill Hickman and wife Pat of Amarillo and Rick Hickman ; daughter, Tonya Levitt and husband Jeff of Arlington; son, Tommy Hickman and wife Misty of Canyon; son, Terry Hickman and wife Charlee of Amarillo; son, Brandon Seidell and wife Erika of Amarillo; daughter, Melanie Beavers and husband Greg of Amarillo; grandchildren, Jonathan Levitt and fiancé, Josh Levitt and fiancé Kiley Bitner, Cade Hickman, Kody Wilcox, Taelyn Hickman, Tori Hickman, Brennon Eckert, Ryan Hickman, Kayden Bynum, Jaxon Hickman, Marissa Sanchez, Michael Sanchez, Emmalee Seidell, Eliza Seidell; and 8 great-grandchildren.
