Henrietta L. Kohn

Henrietta Kohn, 91, of Amarillo, died October 7, 2020.

Graveside Service will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in Llano Cemetery with Larry Dov’ Batchlear Gabbi, Chaplain officiating.

Henrietta Kohn was born October 11,, 1928 in Chicago Illinois to Jacob William Klapman and Lillian Kurtzman Klapman. She married Erwin Kohn in 1949.  Henrietta earned her B. S. in biology at Southwest State College in Weatherford OK.  She retired from Northwest Texas Hospital.

Henrietta Kohn is survived by her daughter, Susan Shay and her husband, Kevin Shay of San Antonio TX; sons, Joseph Kohn of Amarillo, Mike Kohn of Madison and wife, Maricel, WI, Daniel Kohn of Chicago, IL,  Benjamin Kohn of San Antonio TX, and Sam Kohn and wife, Scottye of Atlanta GA; nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Temple B’Nai Israel, 4316 Albert, Amarillo TX 79106.
