James Dale Millican of Amarillo, Tx was born in Seminole, TX on June 2, 1977. He went home to be with Jesus April 30, 2019. He was 41 years young.
Celebration of life for James will be on May 11, 2019 at 10:00 am at Rockwell Road Baptist Church officiated by his pastor Bro. Paul Richardson. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.
James was definitely a “booger”. He had this ornery way about him, but also this charm that made everyone he met just absolutely love him. He loved his wife and his children so much. Towards the end he kept telling his wife, “I wish I had found you sooner and loved you longer.” His favorite place to be was sitting at their family ranch fishing on the front pond. He loved his landscaping job but loved his boss, Joe even more. He also loved his coworkers Doris and Alvin. He also loved hanging with his wife and their best friend Lucy. They made quite the trio. He also loved his church and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Glendon Arnold Millican, his grandmother Esther Mae Millican, his sister Rhonda Kay Millican and his most beloved father Glendon Monroe Millican.
He leaves behind his loving wife Misty Gayle Millican and their two daughters Malori Gene Lee And Jordynn Marie Millican and two stepsons Austin and Conner McGuire. His mother and stepfather Bill and Marie Damery, his brothers Johnny Ray Millican, Johnny Glen Millican, Grady Johnson, Bill Damery and Ricky Damery. Also three sisters Brenda Millican Vasquez, Teresa Johnson Humphries and Theresa Damery. His loving Aunt Sylvia Wickstrom and his beloved cousin Emily Roberts. Also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Rockwell Road Baptist Church Children’s Ministry.
James will forever live in our hearts and fondest memories.
