Jo Ann McKillip

Jo Ann McKillip, 50, of Amarillo passed away October 11, 2018.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Trinity Fellowship Church South Campus, Student Ministry Center, with Pastor Kyle Wilkinson as officiant.   Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Jo Ann was born December 25, 1967 in Libertyville, Illinois to William and Maurine Foy.  She worked for many years for Anderson Merchandising.

She was born 3 months premature weighing less than 1 pound and was born in the car, and in those days was known as a miracle baby. Jo attended Trinity Fellowship church and was active in recreational sports leagues. Around the community she was also involved in multiple cancer survivorship organizations.

Jo was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2016 and lost her battle on October 11, 2018 in the great care of BSA Inpatient Hospice with her family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her father; and her sister, Connie Smith.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Risa McKillip; her sons, Reece and Jordan McKillip,  her mother, Maurine Foy all of Amarillo; her sisters, Betty Funk and husband, Dana of Howell, MI, Margaret Martinez and husband, Nick of Amarillo, and Diana Ricenbaw and husband, Mark of Amarillo; her brothers, Billy Foy and wife, Sylvia of West Covina, CA, Fred Foy and Cindy of Engleside, IL, and Hank Foy and wife, Pat of South Whitley, IN; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
