Joe Parish

Melvin Joe Parish, 84, of Amarillo died December 25, 2018.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Joe was born September 4, 1934 in Amarillo to John and Fay Parish. He married Marilyn Herring in 1955 and was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Joe worked as an Automotive Mechanic for many years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Parish; parents, J.H. Parish and Fay Parish; and brother, Alex Parish.

Joe is survived by daughter, Kim Fuller and husband, Donnell of Amarillo; sons, Joey Parish of Austin, Shawn Parish of Amarillo, and Shane Parish and wife, Sue of Amarillo; brothers, Duke Parish and wife, Jan of San Angelo, and Max Parish and wife, Karen of Amarillo; grandchildren, Erin Kay and husband, Ross, T.J., Kurry and wife, Stephanie, Kelsi, Morgan, Evyn, Trysten, Jeremiah, Drew, Braycen “Pete”; 5 nieces; and Fuller Grandchildren, and Daycare Kids.
