John "J.D." David Tyler

John David Tyler, 44, of Amarillo died April 23, 2019.

Family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

John was born September 8, 1974 in Amarillo, TX to John and Sally Tyler. He graduated from Canyon High School and worked in roofing and construction all his life. J.D. was very quiet to people he did not know well but once he got to know you, he would talk your head off. He enjoyed sitting and talking to his friends on the front or back porch. He loved watching Nascar and going to dirt track races with Tammy. J.D.’s favorite vacation spot was Red River, NM. He especially enjoyed cooking out on the grills and would do anything for anyone. He met Tammy in May 2009 and have been together since then. They were the love of each others lives and made one another smile when it was really needed.

John is survived by his wife, Tammy; his parents, Sally Anne Tyler and John Tyler; sister, Christine; his uncle Bill; 2 aunts, Norma and Mary Kay; niece, McKenzie; nephew, Jordan; extended family; 4 dear friends, Jake, Matt, Marcee and Brian; and 3 fur babies, Princess, Breezy and Shadow.
