Judith “Judy” Widowski, 71, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2018 at Trinity Fellowship Church, 5000 Hollywood Rd. in the West Auditorium with Kyle Wilkinson officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Judy was born September 16, 1946 in New York, NY to Walter and Emma Myers. On November 21, 1964, Judy married Clifford Widowski. They were happily married for 54 years. They moved to Amarillo in 1965 where Judy began her 34 year career with Walmart on Grand. Judy was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Judy’s family and their happiness was her driving force. Her favorite thing to do was travel. The family took an annual camping trip to the beach in Pensacola, Florida for well over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gail Olson; and a brother, Todd Myers.
Judy is survived by her husband, Clifford of Amarillo; three sons, Shain Widowski of Amarillo, Adam Widowski and wife Kristi of Amarillo, and Jason Widowski and Jimmy O’Rourke of Frederick, MD; six grandchildren, Crystal Kendall and husband Jay, Austin Widowski and wife Aimee, Gunnar Widowski, Tanner Widowski, Emma Mitchell and husband Ashton, and Stephen Widowski; six great-grandchildren, Mikhyla Widowski, Camden Kendall, Ashton Widowski, Robbie Widowski, Zaiden Widowski, and Liam Widowski; and many more loving family members and friends.
Her best friend of 50 years, Rainy Pearson, who lives down the street, was a huge support to her and the entire Widowski family. The family extends unending appreciation for her kindness, love, and support.
