Julia Ramos

Julia B. Ramos, age 94, died on November 14, 2019 in Amarillo, Texas.

Rosary will be held 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo, Texas. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 18, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral. Burial will be at Parklawn Memory Gardens, Plainview Cemetery in Plainview, Texas.

Julia was a faithful, loving, strong and reverent woman. She devoted her 94 years to her role as daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend with love and prayer that never ceased. “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek His Face always.” (Chronicles 16:11)

She will be missed by all. We all have our own cherished memories of our times with her: times that to recall will make us cry and times that will make us laugh!

We celebrated her life with her and now we will continue to celebrate her love in our heartfelt memories.

Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Dario and Sara Borjas; her husband Leo N. Ramos and eleven siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Sara Tijerina and husband Ramon; four sons, Frank Ramos; Leo Ramos Jr. and wife, Belen; Anastacio Ramos and wife, Linda; Carlos Ramos and wife Janie; sisters, Minnie Flores and husband Antonio; Mary Cedillo and Rosalda Ortega; brothers, Dario and Jessie Borjas; 23 grandchildren;  69 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

We love you and we will miss you, Beautiful Julia!
