Kevin Francis

Kevin Francis, formally of Dallas, Texas, died in Amarillo on January 7, 2022 at the age of 71.

A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Travis Bennett as officiant. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.  The service will be live streamed through this link https://vimeo.com/666129536/1ba16db4f9

Kevin was born on February 20, 1950 in Pampa, Texas to Buddy and Mary Ward Francis, and graduated from Pampa High School.  Before his recent move to Amarillo, Kevin lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where he owned Best Bail Bonds.  He was a man of many interests including golfing, dancing, and the company of beautiful ladies.  Kevin enjoyed trips to The State Fair of Texas and Las Vegas each year.  In May of 2020, Kevin moved to Amarillo to be closer to his only daughter, Jessica, and his beloved grandsons, Jake and Miles, who were the light of his life.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Webb.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Roper-King and her husband Cody of Amarillo, his grandsons, Jake and Miles, his nephew, Tolk Persons, and by several cousins.
