Matthew Mitchell Krassner, 69, passed away at his home in Amarillo, Texas on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
He was born in South Orange, NJ, on June 5th, 1951 to Jackie and Ted Krassner of New York. Mickey was a Navy man, but his greatest love was being a truck driver. Mickey was selfless and giving. However, one of his greatest attributes was his honesty, along with a great sense of values. He was handsome, charismatic and charming, with a special way about him.
Matthew will be missed and thought of dearly. He loved to laugh, and spend time with his family, both near and far. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother and exceptional grandfather.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Madonna Krassner, 4 Children; son Scott Krassner and Wife Kerry, son Kenneth Krassner, daughter Dawn Altman and husband Roger, daughter Heather Corkin and husband Casey, and three loving sisters, Diane and husband Eddie, Judy, and Ellen, as well as 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and multiple great-grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27th at 11:00am at the Lighthouse Church of Amarillo. Pastor Mark England will be officiating. A lunch will follow the service for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Lighthouse Church of Amarillo, 5631 Pavillard Drive, Amarillo, Texas 79108.
