Norman Burk, 80, of Amarillo died June 6, 2021.

Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Memorial Service will be at 10:30am, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Paramount Baptist Church with Dr. Gil Lain and Rev. Lance Harrington officiating. Private Family interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Norman was born May 11, 1941 in Oklahoma to Norman and Juanita Burk. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1960. Norman married Carlene Cox in August of 1961. They were members of Paramount Baptist Church and the Pastor’s Sunday School Class. Norman served the United States in the Army. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved photographing wildlife. One of his greatest accomplishments was when they completed the cabin at the Rafter 4 Ranch in 1976.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his parents in law, Leon and Cleo Cox; and a brother in law, Bobby Jack Cox.

Norman is survived by his wife, Carlene; a daughter, Shonda Gabel and husband Robert; a son, Norman Lance Burk; a sister, Brenda Campbell and husband Jimmy; two brothers, Kinan Burk and wife June, and Mark Burk and wife Debbie; his grandchildren, Breanna Estrada and husband Arron, Ayslinn Morris and husband Dylan, Landon Gabel, and Norman Ledger Burk; his great grandchildren, Martin Estrada and Jericho Estrada, and his beloved poodle, Abby.

Family suggests memorials be made to the Harry Babbitt Scholarship Fund at Paramount Baptist Church, or your favorite charity.
