Pamela "Pam" Clemens

Pamela Ketler Clemens, 83 of Amarillo went home with the Angels on September 24, 2018.

Private graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Llano Cemetery. Memorial Service will be at 4:00 PM, Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Polk Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Deckard officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia.

Pamela was born November 28, 1934 in Amarillo. She graduated Amarillo High School in 1953. Pam went on to the University of Colorado where she met Carlton F. Clemens (Clem). They were married at Polk Street United Methodist Church on September 3, 1955. Within six years, they had two children, and moved back home after living in 5 cities. Pam was the “Business Manager” of Carlton Clemens, Realtor. She wrote the advertisements, paid the bills, and balanced the books. She received her Real Estate license in 1983. Her claim to fame was Pam’s Lingerie in Wolflin Village from 1986-2004. Pam was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church for 83 years. She also was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Junior League of Amarillo, Amarillo Country Club and Charlton Dance Club.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and John Ketler and grandparents, George and Mellie Waddill.

She is survived by her husband Carlton F.  Clemens; her daughter, Lisa Clemens Foster and husband Brent; a son, John Carlton Clemens and wife Bitsy; a sister, Karen McDaniel of Spring, TX; her grandchildren, Auburn Clemens Pope and husband Philip of Plano, John Carlton Clemens, Jr. of Houston, Reagan Hampton Clemens of Newport Beach; her great grandchildren, Philip Dean Pope, Jr., Lela Grace Clemens Pope, Clara Clemens Pope and Jackson Dean Pope.

Family suggests memorials be made to Polk Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1401 South Polk, Amarillo, TX 79101.
