Gerald Pat Tucker, age 77 of Amarillo passed away on May 13, 2023 in Amarillo.

Pat was born on November 28, 1945 in Hereford to his parents Bill and Essie Lee Tucker.

He proudly served in the US Army from 1963 until 1966. Pat briefly lived in the Austin area before coming to Amarillo in 1975.  On May 19, 1980 he married Elaine in Amarillo.

Pat worked as an electrician and one of his proudest accomplishments was when he passed the journeyman’s test, early in his career. As well as the secret of the pinky.

Pat was always joking and he always had a story to tell.  He adored his family and was a very proud Papa.  He enjoyed spending time with his horses and watching his son, grandson and daughter-in-law race.  He cherished time spent with family.  Pat was a member of the Rolling Hills Riding Club, the MRSA Randall County Sheriff’s Posse and IBEW local 602.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Buster, Ronnie Lee "Buddy", Tommy and Jerry Tucker and Joe Hardeman; and a sister Evelyn Whalen.

Pat is survived by his wife, Elaine; four sons, Davin Agee and wife Loretta, Bryan Tucker and wife Jessica, Pat Tucker and Cody Tucker and wife Amy; a sister Betty Garrity; sister-in-law Deena and spouse Mike; father-in-law and best friend Donald Webb; ten grandchildren, Kelsey, Meagan, Cheyenne, Hannah, Jeremia, Noah, Coleten, Tanner, Amelia, Sadie and eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guest after the memorial service at 1750 Grasslands, Amarillo, TX. 79124.
