Randy J. Campbell

Randy "Damn" Campbell, 56, of Amarillo died March 23, 2021.

Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021 at More Church, 5511 Amarillo Blvd. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Randy was born May 10, 1964 in Amarillo, TX to Don and Jeanie Campbell. He graduated from River Road High School where he met his first love, Lisa Collins. They were married on February 24, 1984 and had three children. He worked several jobs before eventually buying his own truck and trailer.

Randy loved being outdoors and enjoyed horses, fishing, riding dirt bikes and playing pool or throwing darts. He took pride in being able to do well at all things he tried and his sarcastic, witty sense of humor always made the people around him laugh.

Family was an important part of Randy’s life. He had a special bond with his grandmother, Veda “Granny” Downs and always smiled when telling stories about their time together. He loved sharing his pastimes and knowledge with his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Veda Downs; father, Don Campbell; and sister-in-law, Nita Campbell.

Randy is survived by his mother, Jeanie Campbell of Amarillo; daughters, Crystal McMurry and Candice Campbell of Amarillo; son, Colton Campbell of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Denise Campbell of Amarillo, Tracy Bartley and husband Kevin of Artesia, NM; brother, Rusty Campbell of Amarillo; first love, Lisa Campbell of Amarillo; and 5 grandchildren, Lexi, Paige, Payton, Rebel and Ryatt.
