Roger S. Crabtree, age 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 26, 2021.
He graduated class of 1954 from Amarillo High then attended Wichita Kansas University. He served our country in the Army Reserve. He was president of his family owned business until his retirement, after his father’s retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing, hunting, water skiing and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, step-father, and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Violet Crabtree; his wife of 40 years Mary Ester Crabtree; sister Gloria and her husband Dee Griffin Sr.; sister Glenda and her husband Wendel Williams; 1 stepson; 1 stepdaughter; 1 infant niece; and 1 nephew.
He is survived by his sister Linda Joyce Pratt; 1 niece; 1 great niece and her husband; 1 great-great nephew; 3 step grandsons; and his dog Rowdy.
Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home. Per Roger’s request funeral services will be for family only. He is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
