Ryan David Peters

Ryan David Peters went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 20, 2019.

A visitation will be held from 6-7:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Ryan was born to Bob Ed Peters and Shirley Pitts Peters in Amarillo, TX on September 21 1983.

Ryan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work on May 2018 in which he was very proud. He was compassionate about helping others that shared the many struggles he faced in life. Even when he was at his lowest, he always had an encouraging word to lift someone up. You never heard Ryan say a bad word about anyone. Ryan could charm his way into anyone’s heart. Those he loved, he loved deeply, and those that loved him will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Ed Peters; brother, Jason Scott Peters; grandparents, Virgil and Estine Peters of Amarillo, and Shirley and Dorothy Pitts of Amarillo; uncle, Dale Pitts of Denver Co., and aunt, Barbara Pitts Spain of Pryor, OK.

He is survived by his wife, Cassie Grantham Peters of Tulia; son, Tristan Dane Peters, by his first wife Sara Cay Spaulding, of Dallas, TX; two step-daughters, Emma Grantham and Addi Grantham of Tulia; mother, Shirley Peters of Amarillo; brother, Dallas Peters and wife Tandra of Austin, TX; nephews, Addison, Justice, and Blaise Peters, and niece, Cyan Peters of Austin; aunts, Jan Edwards and Norma Kimbrell of Amarillo; uncles, Doug Peters of Amarillo, and Leland Pitts and wife Donna of Plano, TX.
