Theresa Wilson

Theresa Wilson, 101, of Amarillo died December 17, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 21, 2018 at Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Theresa was born September 19, 1917 in Wheeler County, Texas to John and Pearl Kemper. In 1940, Theresa married Clarence Wilson in Tulia and together they were charter members of Coulter Road Baptist Church. During her church life, she was active in Women’s Missionary Union and participated in mission trips around the world. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Education and was a teacher at Wilson School, Margaret Wills and San Jacinto Elementary Schools.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Clarence Wilson.

Theresa is survived by daughters, Lynna Wood and Sherry Mauldin both of Amarillo; son, Alwyn Wilson of Edgewater, FL; 8 grandchildren, Lance Wood, Cory Wood, Ryan Mauldin, Ty Mauldin, Kyle Mauldin, Wes Mauldin, Brad Wilson and Greg Holbrook; 14 great-grandchildren; and 8 great great-grandchildren.
