Timothy "Austin" Stogner

August 5, 1993 — September 19, 2021

Our beloved Austin passed away quietly on September 19, 2021 of natural causes due to complications from his battle with thyroid cancer and other health issues.

Family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at his parents residence. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Austin was born August 5, 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri and moved with his family to Amarillo the summer before third grade. His St. Louis friends thought that moving west meant he would ride a horse to school (he never did) and he insisted on needing a cowboy hat and boots to be ready for Texas.

Growing up he played baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey and sang in the high school choir. Austin graduated from Randall High School in 2012 and attended West Texas A&M University. He worked hard and hoped to own his own lawn care and landscaping business one day.

Austin loved music - mostly heavy metal and 80's. He enjoyed playing the guitar, jamming with his friends and singing karaoke. He constantly quoted funny lines from TV shows or movies and never missed the chance to make a sometimes-ill-timed joke. He made memories of little things, loved playing with his dogs, enjoyed family trips around the country, and watching football - always in his Dallas Cowboys Christmas sweater.

His greatest loves were his daughters, Myla Elizabeth and Avriella Christine. Our solace is in knowing he is now with Myla and no longer in pain. Most importantly, Austin was a Christian and we know he now walks with Jesus.

Austin was preceded in death by a daughter, Myla Elizabeth Stogner.

He is survived by daughter, Avriella Christine Stogner; his parents, Tim and Becky Stogner; sister, Ashley Ramsey (Hunter) and niece-to-be Raeya Mae; grandparents, Robert and Jean Nowlin; grandmother, Alice Stepp; many aunts and uncles; sixteen cousins; and the mother of his children, Shae Stogner.
