Tony Carol Sanders, 59, of Fort Worth, Texas, died August 29, 2021.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home.

Tony was born August 19, 1962 in Amarillo, Texas to Howard and Jane Sanders. He attended Caprock High School and later moved to the Fort Worth area where he became a licensed Journeyman electrician.

At the time of his death, Tony was a partner with TDIndustries working at American Airlines as a Building Tech III. “Tony was a dependable Partner and a hard worker, always taking a call and doing whatever it took to get the job done safely.” Said Facility Maintenance Supervisor, Lawrence McCrary. “He was third shift dispatch’s favorite tech, always putting a smile on their faces by saying something funny. He never had a bad attitude about anything.”

Tony loved to spend his free time fishing for bass on one of the many lakes in the Fort Worth area and going to motocross events any chance he could. He also enjoyed cooking and loved to experiment and try out new recipes.

Tony is preceded in death by his father, Howard Carl Sanders, his brother David Sanders, and Sister, Terri Sanders. Since his passing, the Sanders family also experienced the loss of his mother, Janis Eloise Sanders.

Tony is survived by his sister, Billie Brockwell and husband Wayne of Canyon; brother, Bobby Sanders and wife Melanie of Amarillo; and several nieces and nephews.
