Troy "Big Daddy" Gene Cullum

Troy Gene “Big Daddy” Cullum, 52, of Amarillo died Sunday, May 20, 2018.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Central Church of Christ Chapel with Minister Allan Stanglin and Minister Adam Gray officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia.

Troy was born October 19, 1965 to George and Janice Cullum in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in 1984 from Dallas Christian. Many knew Troy as “Big Daddy” and some were convinced that was his real name. Troy loved his family, especially his children. TJ and Morgan were his world. Troy had a personality that was bigger than life and had no filter. What you saw, is what you got. Troy loved bowling and rooting on his favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Cullum.

Troy is survived by his loving wife, Berkley, his daughter, Morgan, his son, TJ, a sister, Jean Ann Blum of Dallas, a brother, George Cullum of Lubbock, and his mother, Janice Cullum of Dallas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
